Hello, World

This is my first post.

I've been meaning to start a blog for years. Most software engineers have lists of things they want to write about, and most of those lists never become posts. This is my attempt to break that pattern.

What this is

A place for me to think out loud. I'll write about things I'm building, problems I've solved (and failed to solve), and ideas I find interesting.

The goal isn't to build an audience. It's to write clearly about technical topics — for my own benefit as much as anyone else's.

What to expect

Short posts. Long posts. Probably more long posts than I'd like.

Topics will mostly be software engineering — systems, code quality, distributed systems, developer tools — but I won't constrain myself too much.

If you find something useful here, great. If not, at least I have a record of what I've been thinking about.
